 Billy Ray Carr, Jr., Photo by 6News GREENWOOD, Ind. -- A man who repeatedly billed himself as a "Christian" contractor, according to his alleged victims, was charged Wednesday, April 23 with five counts of home improvement fraud.
Authorities in Johnson County said Billy Ray Carr Jr., 35, recently approached several older homeowners and offered to trim their trees for a fee.

In 1942, members of the United States Senate and House of Representatives began meeting privately on an “off the record” basis to talk, pray and think together each week. The example set by these small gatherings has fostered scores of groups of its kind, not only in our nation’s capital, but in many parliaments around the world. In 1953, members of Congress invited then President Eisenhower to join them for a fellowship breakfast in the Spirit of Christ. The National Prayer Breakfast was born out of the warmth and spirit of that first meeting. Each year since, at a time near the opening of Congress, members of the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives, involved in fellowship, invite responsible people from every state and almost every nation to join the President of the United States for this time together.
